Argentine Delights: Top Dishes You Can’t Miss

I recently went to Argentina and had some truly incredible meals.

What country has the smell of grilled meat wafting through the streets? I’m going to share some stories about the foods I went to and thought, “This place is absolutely insane.”

The first thing I’m going to talk about is, of course, steak (bipe de chorizo)!

Wow, just imagine.

A hunk of meat the size of my face comes out, wafting the aroma of charcoal, and as soon as I put my knife to it, it melts away… I thought it was some kind of pudding!

With just one bite, the meat juices burst into my mouth. It was so good I thought, “Was all my previous meat experiences in Korea fake?”

The best part, of course, was the price! By exchanging my “Blue Dollars,” I was able to slice the world’s most delicious beef every day for the price of pork belly.

But there’s a downside… The meat is so big that I end up craving kimchi or spicy ramen.

And people here don’t eat dinner until 9 p.m.?

I was so hungry I was dizzy, but the restaurant wasn’t even open, so I almost collapsed on the street!

And I’m totally addicted to empanadas.

They’re just South American dumplings, and whenever I felt hungry, I’d grab one.

Especially the ones with beef and cheese… Wow, just thinking about them makes my mouth water.

They’re so cheap and delicious, I’d say, “I’ll just have one,” but before I know it, I’ve had a third.

Belly fat gain only happens in an instant, so dieters, be careful!

Oh, and the unmissable Argentine soul, dulce de leche! It’s the devil’s jam.

There’s a snack called “alpajor,” which is like caramel sandwiched between cookies.

Take a bite of this and a strong cup of coffee… Wow, all your worries in the world just disappear.

It’s so sweet it almost melts my teeth, but it’s worth it! I almost forgot to eat it all at the airport when I was trying to buy it as a souvenir.

Finally, if you go to a park or something, you’ll find choripan (steamed sausage bread) being sold in a smoky atmosphere. Pour a generous amount of “chimichurri” (spicy and sour sauce) on it, and it’s truly amazing.

Eat it with a beer and sit by the river, and you’ll find yourself exclaiming, “Wow, I really enjoyed my trip!”

Buenos Aires is a place you’ll really have to give up your diet for.

If you ever go, be sure to bring elastic pants!
