These days, you can see a lot of YouTube videos that claim to make money using ChatGPT and other generative AI.

If you watch the videos, they advertise that you can make hundreds of thousands of dollars, millions of dollars, or tens of millions of dollars using generative AI in various ways.

Of course, since these people already have a lot of subscribers, they will make a lot of money just from YouTube views.

But even if a beginner like me can’t make that much money, can’t I make money? With that hope in mind, I tried to make money using various generative AI.

First, I wrote a blog post using chatgpt.

Sometimes I give strange answers, but it was good because I could write blog posts much faster than I could write myself.

The downside is that I can’t write the latest news because I don’t know the latest news.

I don’t know if it’s because of that or another reason, but anyway, I’ve written a lot of articles and posted them on my blog for the past 3 months, but I haven’t had many visitors to my blog, and many of the articles I wrote with chatgpt have 0 views.

Most of them don’t even have 1 view.

Writing with chatgpt is fast, but it still takes a long time to complete a blog post. And since the number of views is too low, it seems difficult to make money from blog posts.

Next, I decided to create a video and upload it to YouTube.

As many of you may already know, there are AI programs called Pictory and Brew that edit videos.

Both programs have their pros and cons, but I used them to create videos and upload them to YouTube anyway.

No matter how much AI automatically edits videos, it takes a considerable amount of time to complete a video with these programs and upload it to YouTube.

However, I diligently created videos and uploaded them to YouTube for 3 months with the hope that I would make money from YouTube someday.

What was the result?

There are many videos on YouTube that have not received many views or have not been viewed at all.

I tried creating them on various topics, but nothing worked.

Why is that? Could it be that Google’s search robot did not expose articles and videos using AI?

Even if you don’t want to click, it may feel strange that the number of views and impressions is 0.

Anyway, after using it for about 3 months, I came to the conclusion that it is difficult to make money with a blog or YouTube.

The next thing I tried was drawing.

If you are good at drawing, there are various sales sites where you can sell your drawings and make money.

As many of you may already know, creative AI that can draw drawings include Midjourney and Novel.

This program has a free and paid version, but I have never used the paid version and have tried the free version.

Based on the test results, it seems difficult to make money with this program.

I drew a picture according to the command, and I carefully wrote down the command dozens of times and drew the picture I needed, but the picture did not change much and the picture I wanted was not drawn.

The number of drawings that can be used for free has been exceeded, so I can no longer draw.

When I downloaded the unfinished drawing, it was too small to sell even if I downloaded it in the maximum size.

Even if I draw a picture with the paid version, I don’t know how much time and money it takes to complete one picture, so I think it will be difficult to make money with this. So I didn’t try anymore.

The next thing I tried was a site called studio.d-id, which creates AI avatars that speak text, and I thought it would be good to make a video and upload it to YouTube.

On this site, you can make one video for free, but you have to pay for the next one.

However, the site is entirely in English, so I made a mistake while making a free video, and I had to pay to make one video.

I paid about 8,000 won, but after making one video, it asked me to pay again.

At least if I upload it to YouTube and get a lot of views, I can pay to make a video, but this video has not increased in views from the first view to today, 3 months later. So I hope you all understand this and make a wise decision.
